Anti Money Laundering and ‘Know Your Customer’ policies

In compliance with Russian and international banking practice and the Federal Law ‘On Criminal Income Legalization (Laundering) Counteraction’ dated August 7, 2001 No. 115-FL, OTP Bank (Russia) takes certain measures to counteract money laundering and terrorist financing.

The Bank has issued ‘Rules of Internal Control of OTP Bank (Russia) to Counteract Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing’ and has appointed a Designated officer who is responsible for its implementation.

OTP Bank (Russia) is aimed to uphold its business reputation and minimize risk to be involved into suspicious transactions. In this regard the Bank strictly follows ‘Know Your Customer’ policy and procedures.

OTP Bank (Russia) does not have any relations with non-resident banks that do not have permanent administrative body in the country of registration (shell-banks).

OTP Bank (Russia) does not have correspondent relations with banks registered in off-shore zones or territories with privileged tax regulations.

In the case your financial institution is counterparty of OTP Bank (Russia) and last AML Questionnaire provided to us is more than 1 year old or there were recent changes in the information stated in the Questionnaire, we kindly ask you to fill in a fresh Questionnaire and send it to Financial Institutions and International Business Department (FI@otpbank.ru).
